Overview
This itinerary covers Tanzania's core Northern Circuit — Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti — with photography prioritized throughout, from vehicle choice to the timing of each day's drives around the best available light.
Each park offers a genuinely different photographic subject: Manyara's tree-climbing lions and birdlife, Ngorongoro's dense, contained wildlife within the crater, and the Serengeti's open plains and big-cat action. Guides are experienced at positioning for shots rather than just sightings, and photographic vehicles are used where available.
