This 3-day itinerary departs from Dar es Salaam for Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park), including a boat ride along the Rufiji River where crocodiles, hippos and a wide range of other wildlife gather along the water's edge.

Nyerere is one of the largest protected wilderness areas in Africa, and its boat safaris offer a genuinely different vantage point from the vehicle-based game drives most Tanzania safaris rely on.
