Overview
Four days built specifically around photography, with game drives timed for the light rather than just when animals happen to be active. Vehicles are kept small so there's room to maneuver for angles, and guides are used to working with photographers rather than general sightseers, which changes how they approach positioning at a sighting.
The Serengeti's plains give you long sightlines and clean backgrounds, which help a lot when you're trying to isolate a subject rather than shoot through grass or branches. Contact us through our contact page for current dates.

Day by Day (4 days)
ARRIVE IN TANZANIA
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your photographic guide. Transfer to your boutique lodge in Arusha for an evening briefing on your itinerary, camera settings for African light, and the wildlife you can expect.

GAME DRIVE IN TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire (3-hour drive). Arrive in time for lunch, followed by a long afternoon game drive among the iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds. Sunset shooting positions over the Tarangire River.

GAME DRIVE IN THE CENTRAL SERENGETI
Full day in the northern Serengeti following the migration. Position yourself at Mara River crossing points for one of the most dramatic photographic spectacles in nature.

DEPARTURE
Final morning game drive, then drive from Serengeti back to Arusha. Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for international departure.
