This 4-day camping safari is built for travelers with limited time in Tanzania who still want genuine Big Five wildlife viewing — an affordable, well-paced way to cover the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater without a longer time commitment.
Like most of our shorter safaris, this itinerary starts and ends in Arusha, with camping accommodation keeping costs down compared to a lodge-based equivalent. It's a solid option if budget and time are both real constraints, without sacrificing access to two of the Northern Circuit's strongest parks.
