Overview
With only four days, this safari focuses on one place and does it well: Kenya's Masai Mara. Lions and cheetahs live here all year, and in the right season the migrating wildebeest and zebra pour through as well. You stay in luxury tented camps with proper beds and private bathrooms under canvas.
The plan gives you two full days of game drives plus the drive in and out, which is usually enough to see most of the Big Five when they are around. It is ideal if your time is limited but you want more than a single day in the park. Contact us for current prices.

Day by Day (4 days)
NAIROBI TO THE MASAI MARA
Abakombe Tours collects you from Osoita Lodge in Nairobi and drives you through the Great Rift Valley and the town of Narok to the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at Kilima Luxury Tented Camp. In the afternoon you head out on a game drive looking for lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo and the rest of the Big Five.

FULL DAY IN THE MASAI MARA
After an early breakfast you move camp, game viewing along the way and arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon you set out again on a game drive.

MARA RIVER AND THE RESERVE'S RESIDENTS
An early game drive is followed by breakfast, then a full day exploring the reserve in search of predators and their prey, including zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo and crocodile, with a visit to the Mara River.

MASAI MARA TO NAIROBI
After an early breakfast you leave the reserve and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant, before being dropped at your hotel or the airport.
