Stone Town Walking Tour

A guided walk through Stone Town's narrow lanes, past carved wooden doors, the old slave market site and centuries of Swahili, Arab, Persian and Indian heritage packed into one small UNESCO-listed town.

Most walks start in the cool of the morning and take in the Old Fort, the House of Wonders and the house where Freddie Mercury spent his early childhood. It is ideal if you are staying in Stone Town, or as a half-day stop on the way to the beaches of the north and east.
