Spice Farm Tour

Walk through a working spice farm and see cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla and more growing on the plant, the crops that earned Zanzibar its name as the "Spice Island".

Your guide picks leaves, seeds and bark for you to smell and guess before telling you what they are. Most tours finish with fresh tropical fruit and a chance to buy spices straight from the farm. It is an easy half-day trip from Stone Town, before or after your beach stay.
