Hot Air Balloon Safari

After a pre-dawn start, you drift silently over the Serengeti for about an hour as the sun rises, then land for a champagne breakfast in the bush. It is one of the pricier extras on a Tanzania safari, but guests almost always call it a highlight.

Balloons take off just before sunrise and depend on the weather, so flights are usually confirmed the evening before. Seats are limited and often sell out, so ask us to reserve one when you book your Serengeti safari rather than after you arrive.
