Game Drives

The classic safari: exploring a park in a 4x4 with your driver-guide, following routes that change with the seasons and the movement of the animals. Most days include two drives, an early start when predators are most active and a late-afternoon drive into the golden evening light.

Game drives are the foundation of every Abakombe itinerary and are included as standard in all our tours rather than sold separately. We shape the parks, number of drives and overall pace around what matters to you, whether that is big cats, photography or simply more time relaxing at camp.
