 Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Day 4: Drive to Northern Serengeti for the Great Migration

The Great Wildebeest Migration is a major highlight (seasonal, around July to October) with vast herds moving through the area. Predators follow the migration, leading to incredible opportunities to witness hunts and interactions. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards are particularly active during this period.

Giraffes, elephants, zebras, and wildebeests are likely to be seen.

Other animals like hyenas, jackals, and servals are part of the ecosystem.

Birdlife remains diverse, with species like secretary birds, ostriches, and vultures.

Keep in mind that wildlife sightings are influenced by various factors, including migration patterns and natural behaviors. Your guides will do their best to provide you with the best opportunities to observe these incredible animals in their natural habitats.

In terms of what to pack: 

It is important to bring comfortable clothes for warm weather, closed-toe shoes for some walking, insect repellent, sunscreen, a hat, a flashlight, and a camera with extra batteries.
