2-Days Uganda Gorilla safari

This 2-day gorilla tracking adventure spans two beautiful countries, Uganda and Rwanda, offering a unique opportunity to explore their rich flora and fauna. The journey commences in Kigali, Rwanda, and takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, renowned for its gorilla population.

Day 1: Arrival and Cultural Visit

• Main destination: Kigali, Rwanda
• Accommodation: You can choose your accommodation in Kigali (not included in the package).
• Meals & Drinks: Lunch & Dinner (Breakfast not included)
• You will arrive at Kigali International Airport, where you will be met by your safari guide. From there, you will drive to the Uganda-Rwanda border at Cyanika/Katuna. Along the way, you will enjoy the scenic views of Rwanda’s beautiful landscape with its rolling hills. After crossing into Uganda, you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
• In the afternoon, you will check in at your chosen accommodation, the Broadbill Forest Camp, located just outside Bwindi National Park. You’ll have the option for an optional visit to Lake Bunyonyi, a picturesque lake surrounded by lush green hills. The day will end with a Batwa cultural visit, followed by a freshly prepared dinner and an overnight stay at your accommodation in Bwindi.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Departure

• Main destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Gorillas)
• Accommodation: No accommodation (End of tour)
• Meals & Drinks: Breakfast & Lunch (Dinner not included)
• You will start the day with an early breakfast and then head to the Park Headquarters for a briefing on the rules and guidelines for gorilla trekking. After the briefing, you will embark on a gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is known for its rugged terrain and lush vegetation. The trek can vary in duration, ranging from 2 to 8 hours, and once you locate the gorillas, you will have one hour to observe them in their natural habitat.
• After the gorilla trek, you will return to your accommodation for lunch. Following lunch, you will check out from your lodge, and the guide will drive you to the Rwanda-Uganda border to cross back into Rwanda. From there, you will be driven to Kigali in time for your evening departure flight.

This rearranged itinerary ensures a seamless transition from arrival in Kigali to gorilla trekking in Bwindi and concludes with your departure from Kigali on Day 2.
