Maasai Cultural Village Visit

A visit to a Maasai boma usually includes a traditional welcome song and dance, a look inside a family home and a conversation about pastoral life with the help of an interpreter. It is best enjoyed as a real exchange rather than a photo stop.

We arrange visits with a particular boma near your route, often on the way to or from the Ngorongoro Crater or Lake Manyara. A small entrance fee goes directly to the community. Most guests add it to a northern safari rather than booking it as a separate day.
