This 3 days Safari to the Masai Mara will allow you to experience one of Kenya`s greatest concetrations of game. Home to the colourful Masai people and renowned as being Kenya`s most famous park, this excursion provides the chance of seeing the BIG FIVE ( Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo) as well as hordes of other game. On our way, we pass through Kenya`s Rift Valley escarpment which offers some of the most breath taking views and beautiful orange tinted sunset.
Day 1: Nairobi- Masai Mara- 265km:4-5 Hrs.
You depart Nairobi in the early morning through the suburbs and immediate city neighbour hoods.
African urban and rural settings contrast dramatically as you drive via farm lands to the Great Rift Valley.
The journey to the Masai Mara shall be at the floors of the rift valley through masai country.
You arrive at the lodge or tented camp for showers, refreshments and lunch. Afternoon game viewing drives.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge / camp.
Day 2: Masai Mara.
Day spent at the Masai Mara game reserve on game viewing drives. Movement is dictated by the location of specific wildlife species.
The game reserve hosts the highest concentration of wild game per km than any other park in the region.
Simply stated the Mara is a haven for game spotting.
Meals and overnight shall be at your lodge / camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi:
A pre- breakfast, game viewing drive is scheduled for the early morning.
After breakfast, check out of your accommodation units and depart the Mara with game viewing en-route.
Arrive Nairobi by late afternoon.
